This means we meet one of the most rigorous security standards in the payments industry, proving that we can manage crypto keys and payment infrastructure in a way that is both secure and reliable. We are listed as PCI PIN service providers on the PCI Council website. We are 1 of 16 in the world that are on the list and the only player in Sweden, see the list.
What does it mean?
PCI PIN is the global standard that governs how PIN codes, keys and related infrastructure may be managed. The requirements are very strict and cover technical solutions, physical protection and process controls. Achieving this certification is both technically and organisationally complex. Everything from the design of the premises and security zones to staff procedures and documentation is carefully reviewed by an independent PCI-authorised assessor.
What does this mean for our customers?
The fact that we are now certified and officially listed on the PCI Council website as an approved Service Provider means that we can offer:
- PCI PIN approved key injection facility in northern Stockholm County.
- Secure storage of HSM/KLD in our approved Key Injection Facility (KIF).
- Rental of certified security rooms for e.g. key ceremonies and other sensitive operations.
- A secure partner who guarantees that all processing is done according to PCI PIN

We have also gone one step further: one of our applications is certified under the PCI Software Security Framework (SSF) for a specific project. This shows that we not only secure the hardware and key management, but also handle card data and payment applications in an industrially secure and future-proof way.
In concrete terms, this means that we can offer a complete solution where both hardware and payment application are certified and can be used in sensitive environments, especially in public transport and transport, where we are currently running projects with contactless payments.
