Cyber threats against Swedish companies and authorities are both more advanced and more extensive than many realise. When Christian Kyller from Orange Cyberdefense visited us, he shared a clear picture of a rapidly changing threat landscape where attackers are organised, sophisticated and constantly active. Despite being one of the most digitised countries in the world, Sweden is lagging behind in cybersecurity - making us an attractive target. The message is clear: it's not a matter of if an attack happens, but when. Therefore, security needs to move from being seen as a cost to becoming a natural and business-critical part of the organisation.
